Mrs. Rose Marie Bragg, 84, of Burlington and formerly of Fort Madison died at 4:50 a.m. Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born January 2, 1929 in St. Joe, Indiana, she was the daughter of John Walter Paul and Ella Augusta Schultz Crothers. On June 15, 1947 she married Elliott Lee Bragg in St. Joe. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2004.
Mrs. Bragg was a homemaker and held secretarial positions for 20 years, retiring in 1986. She was a member of First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ, Christian Women's Fellowships and church circles.
Survivors include four daughters, Suzanne Marie (Steve) Yentes of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Jo Ella Lee (Mike) Anderson of Montrose, Laurie Caroline (Patrick) Breen of Denmark and Melanie Rose (Gary) Fitch of Athens, Alabama; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one on-the-way; four step great grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley Ann Wolfcale.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandchild, one great grandchild and two brothers.
A memorial has been established for First Christian Church - Disciples of Christ.
