Mrs. Laura Alameda Card, Mt. Pleasant, Ia., died at the Theodore Thompson residence on the Madison road at 9:45 last night. Mrs. Card, a native of Burlington, had been a resident of Mt. Pleasant for the past 15 years. She was visiting at the Thompson home when she became ill. She was born Aug. 23, 1874, the daughter of Charles and Nettie Patterson. She was the wife of Delbert Card, and a member of the Methodist church. The body was removed to Prugh's chapel pending of arrangements for her funeral.
