Obituary

James Louis Boyle, 44, 2108 S. 13th St., died at 6:08 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 1993, in the Burlington Medical Center emergency room from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Born March 30, 1949, in Burlington, he was the son of Louis F. and Edna R. Lee Boyle. In June, 1970, he married Lucia Bazel. He later married Deborah Wandra Feb. 27, 1976.

Mr. Boyle was a US. Post Office mail handler for 17 years. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include one daughter, Melissa Swiler of Burlington•, two sons, Adam Boyle and Blain Boyle of Burlington; his father and step-mother, Clara Boyle; one sister, Jeanne Baker of Wever, one half-brother, Richard Jenkins of Quincy, Ill.; one half-sister, Ruth Graham of Muscatine; two step-sisters, JoAnn Hook of Omaha, Neb., and Connie Burnsell of Derby, Kan.; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.

Visitation will be Monday at Prugh's Chapel, where the fam- ily will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The funeral for Mr. Boyle will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. David Mixon officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for his children.
