Died In this city on Sunday morning last, 24th inst., Mr. John Carpenter, aged 23 years and two months. Mr. C. was from Lancaster county, Pa. He was much respected by a large circle of acquaintances in this town, and to whom, by his kind and honorable bearing, they were greatly attached. A funeral discourse will be preached on next Sunday at 11 o'clock, by the Rev. Mr. Whitiord, at the Methodist E. church, on the occasion of his death.
