Mrs. Betty Lou Boyle, 67, of 1605 Thul, died in Burlington Medical Center at 12:45 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 27.
She was born April 25, 1917, in Burlington, to Herbert and Teresa Parmeter Nelson Myatt. She married James Claire Boyle Oct. 15, 1935. in Mt. Pleasant. Mrs. Boyle had been employed in the North Hill School cafeteria since 1970.
Surviving: Her husband; four sons, Dr. Jeffery and Mathew. both of Iowa City, and Michael and Timothy, both of Burlington; two daughters, Barbara Deiling. Fullerton. Calif.. and Luana Galviny Burlington; a brother. Russell Nelson. and sister Lucille Wills. both of West Burlington; and 10 grandchildren.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Prugh's Chapel. the Rev. Carlos Leveling; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the intensive care unit
of Burlington Medical Center.
