Obituary
The body of Harry Balzer, 41, former Burlington resident, who died at Chicago Wednesday, will arrive here this morning and will be taken to the Burnett-Wallen funeral home. The time of the funeral has not yet been determined.
Mr. Balzer was at one time a moulder at the West Burlington shops and before that time was a streetcar motorman in Burlington. He left here six years ago. He was born Jan. 9, 1890 and was united in marriage to Miss Ruth Zerneke, Aug. 12, 1912.
His widow and one child survive. He is survived also by three brothers, George, Ray, and Martin Balzer and two sisters, Mrs. John Moyer and Mrs. Walter Luers all of Burlington.
Mr. Balzer was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George A. Balzer of West Burlington.
Funeral services for Mr. Balzer will be held at 2 o’clock this afternoon at Bernett-Waller Funeral Home. Burial will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
