William E. Carr, 90, 316 Lewis, former Burlington Justice of the Peace, died in Mercy hospital Friday after an extended illness. Born in Chillicothe, mo., Mar. 16, 1864, he was the son of John and Sarah Carr. He was retired school teacher. On. Nov. 19, 1890, he married Mae Morgan. Carr was a member of the First Christian church. Surviving are his widow and a daughter, Mrs. W.G. Nuss, three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Prugh's chapel with the Rev. l.Z. Patton in charge. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
