Harold W. Lund, 67, died at 1;15 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at his home at 1505 West Columbia Terrace, Peoria, Ill. He was a native of Burlington. Lund served as comptroller for several department stores prior to his retirement in 1956. He was the son of August and Elizabeth Nichols Lund, and was born Apr. 21, 1892. On Sept. 3, 1914, Lund was married to Pearl Tobin at Burlington. She survives, as do his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Marshall, at El Monte, Calif.; a son and two daughters; Edward Lund, Palo Alto, Calif., and Mrs. John Mason and Barbara Lund, both of Peoria and four grandchildren. Also, surviving are a half-brother and two half-sisters; Luther Marshall, Los Angeles, and Mrs. Genevieve Buckley and Mrs. L. T. Zorn, both of El Monte. Lund was a member of First Presbyterian church, the Rotary club and the Creve Coeur club. Last rites will be conducted at 10:30 Friday morning at the Wilton mortuary, 2101 North Knoxville avenue. Graveside services will be held in Aspen Grove cemetery, Burlington, at one o'clock Friday afternoon.
