FT. MADISON DEMOCRAT: Andrew Patterson, for about thirty years a guard at the state penitentiary in this city, died at his home, No. 335 Fourth street, Tuesday at 2:50 o'clock, aged 72 years, 7 months and 11 days. The deceased was born in Baltimore, Md., Mary 15, 1833 and is survived by the wife and two children, Mrs. Carl Stutsman of Burlington and Frank Patterson of Chicago. no arrangements for the funeral will be made until the children arrive.
