Elizabeth Joy Moyers, 23, of Biggsville, IL formerly of Burlington, died Friday, December 10, 2004, as the result of an automobile accident on U.S. 34. Born August 9, 1981, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Kenneth C. and Marla K. Elliott Moyers. Miss Moyers graduated from Burlington Christian School in 1999. She was a CNA for Home Caring Services. She was of the Christian faith. She was a caring, loving, giving person and liked dolphins. Survivors include her fiancé, Jason Roe Crane of Biggsville; her parents Kenneth and Marla of Burlington; two brothers, Jeremiah E. Moyers of Dallas, TX and Benjamin I. Moyers of Burlington; one sister, Faith C. Moyers of Davenport; paternal grandfather, Doyle Moyers of Burlington; maternal grandparents, Larry and Norma Elliott of West Burlington; two nieces, Trinity Overlander and Madison Moyers; and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother. Visitation will be after 8:00 AM Friday, December 17, at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service for Miss Moyers will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 18, at First Assembly of God Church with Reverend Timothy Hammye officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established in memory of Elizabeth Joy Moyers.
