Clarence Bowers, 78; of 2201 S. 13th, died at I p.m. Tuesday, June 27, at the St. Francis Continuation Care Center.
He was born April 28, at Monmouth, Ill., the son of Seymour and Margaret Collins Bowers. He married Odessa Cable March 4, 1922, at Burlington.
He was a retired employee of Midwest Biscuit and member of the Methodist church.
Surviving: The wife; two sons, Robert, Phoenix, Am, and William, Burlington; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Friday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. G.A. Saathoff; Aspen Grove cemetery.
