John Scarf Cutler, 71, 1065 Osborn street, died Monday at 5:30 p.m. in St. Francis hospital after an illness of a month. He was born March 3, 1877, in Burlington. On June 18, 1908, he married Rosa Clare Schauenberg in Burlington. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran church and Moose lodge and was employed at Chittenden & Eastman company. Surviving are the widow; 2 sisters, Jessie Cutler and Mrs. Hattie Chambers of Burlington; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday at 2;30 p.m. in Giles Funeral home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
