Charles L. Bosier, 93, of 921 N. Third St., died 11:45 p.m. Friday, July 8, 1988, at Burlington Medical Center's Klein Unit.
Born March 30, 1895, in Guthrie Center, he was the son of Granville and Ida M. Wilt Bosier. He married Opal Garrett Oct. 29, 1924, in Lorimor. She preceded
him in death,
He was employed as executive vice president with Burlington Bank and Trust before retiring and was previously employed with the Iowa Banking Association. He was a member of the Masonic Order, the Rotary Club, the Elks Club, the Burlington Golf Club, the American Legion, the Credit Men's Association, the Voice of America and the Board of Directors of Burlington Bank and Trust.
Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Charlotte (Richard) Palmer, Morrison, Colo. , and Mrs. Mary (Peter) Moosmann, Torrance, Calif.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one step-great-grandchild; two nieces; and one nephew.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Prugh's Chapel. The body will be cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Bosier will be II a.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel with Dr. Robert Dodder officiating. A memorial has been established for Rotary Exchange Students and Scholarships.
