Daniel H. Borrego. 76, of Burlington died at 908 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, 1998, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born March l, 1922. in Rosenburg, Texas. He was the son of Teodora Borrego. On June 4, 1944. he married
Felisiana Estrada in Brownsville, Texas.
Mr. Borrego worked tor C & E and US. Borax. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed working
in his garden.
Survivors Include his three sons. Jesus Borrego of South Bend, Ind, Teodoro Borrego of Dubuque and Antonio Borrego of Burlington: four daughters, Elvira Aramburo of Baytown. Texas. Eloisa Morales of Texas, and Juanita Lynn and Frances Butcher, both ofWest Layfayette. Ind; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister. Eloisa Garza of Elsa. Texas; two half brothers. Alejandro Borrego and Hector Borrego. both of Mexico: and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation Will begin after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel. There will a Christian wake service at 7p.m. and the family will receive
friends until 9 p m. The funeral for Mr Borrego be at 10 a,rn In St. John's Catholic Church. With the Rev. Bernie Weir officiating.Buriall
be in Aspen Grove Cemetery
