Gonzalo Borrego, the one and a half-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Borrego who lived at 711 N. Seventh, passed away on Thursday at 5 a.m. at University hospitals in Iowa City. Gonzalo was born on February 7th and was the son of Daniel and Feliciana Estrada Borrego. He is survived by his parents, five brothers (Daniel, Jesus, Isidoro, Francis, and Antonio), and three sisters (Eloisa, Maria Elena, and Juanita), all of whom are at home. Committal services will be held at Grove cemetery on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Father Anthony officiating. The body is currently at the Elliott-Lunning Chapel.
