Donald H. Born. 64. Bittersweet Place, died at 6:35 p m. Saturday in Mercy hospital where he had been a patient since Feb. 22.
He was born July 7, 1903, at Bellvue, la. the son of Joseph Charles and Mary G. Gimer Born. In 1944. at Omaha. Neb., he married Dorothy Carhoff.
He was a member of First United Church of Christ, Eagles and Masons. Mr. Born was a driver for Continental Trailways.
Surviving. The wife; his mother, Mrs. Joseph C Born, Davenport; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Debbie) Goble, Burlington, Mrs. Roger (Judy) Reinhold, Texas; two sons, Joseph C. and Donald W. Born, both of Burlington; one stepson, James C. St. Joseph Mo.; nine grandchildren; one brother, Joseph C. Born, Newburg, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. Phil Mackey, Albuquerque. several nieces and
nephews.
The body is at Prugh's chapel.
