Rudolph H. “Rudy” Bliesener, 82, of 1326 N. 7th, died Saturday, Sept. 30, in Klein unit of Burlington Medical Center.
Born April 27, 1896, in Burlington, he was the son of Frederick and Dorothy Wiswedel Bliesener. He married Helen Russell July 17, 1918, in Burlington.
He was a retired Burlington Northern railroad employee, WWI Army veteran, and member of First United Church of Christ, Brotherhood of Railway Clerks, Patriots lodge AF&AM, and Eagles.
Surviving: The wife; two sons, Sanford and Ronald, both of Burlington; a daughter, Dorothy Bliesener, Middletown; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Esther Whitham, Burlington
Funeral: 10 am Monday, Lunning Chapel, Rev. Alvin Volle; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Twin brother, Adolf, was stillborn.
