Fred Bliesener, 1304 Oak Street, resident of Burlington for 58 years died at his home after a long illness.
Born in Germany on June 21, 1859. Mr. Bliesener was 81 years old. He was a painter and a contractor. He married Dorothy Wiswedol on Jan. 1, 1890. He was a member of the First Evangelical Church and Modern Woodmen of America lodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Glenn Whitman, 1304 Oak Street; a son, Rudolph Bliesener, 1320 Osborn street; a brother, Herman Bliesener, Burlington; and three grandchildren, Sanford, Ronald, and Dorothy Mae Bliesener.
Services will be held at the residence at 4 pm Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. JH Buescher, pastor of the First Evangelical church. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body will be taken to the residence from the Unterkircher funeral home at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
