Obituary
Henry F. Bliesener, 87, 87, a native of Germany and resident of Burlington for the past 10 years, died at his home, 2203 Vogt Street, at 7:15 this morning after a year’s illness.
Mr. Bliesener was born in Germany, on February 2, 1845, and married on November 3, 1878, to Anna Yustina Wegg. He was a cabinet maker by trade and came to Burlington from Vanguard, Canada 10 years ago. He was a member of the First Evangelical Church and is survived by a daughter, Anna Eliza Bliesener with whom he lived, two brothers, Fred Bliesener of Burlington and Herman Bliesener of Aberdeen, South Dakota, and several nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to Unterkircher’s funeral home pending arrangements for the funeral.
Funeral services for Henry F. Bliesener will be held at the residence, 203 Voght street, Friday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. JH Buescher, with burial in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The body will be taken home from Unterircher’s funeral parlors Thursday afternoon.
