Mrs. Luthera L. Ware, 90 years old, and a resident of Burlington for more than half a century, succumbed in Burlington hospital this morning at 2 o'clock to injuries received almost a year ago when she fell from the terrace at her home, 915 North Third street and suffered a broken hip. She fought bravely for life but her age was against her, and upon entering the hospital five months ago she gradually grew weaker until death came to relieve her suffering. Mrs. Ware was the widow of William O. Ware, who passed away thirty-two years ago. She came to Burlington to make her home in 1862 and was surrounded by a wide circle of friends who mourn her passing. She is survived by a brother, Charles F. Bosworth of Milford, Conn., a niece, Mrs. Warner, also of Milford, who has been attending her for the past year and several other nieces in Massachusetts.
