Died In this city on the 8th inst., Mrs. Alvira M. Ware, wife of Mr. William O. Ware, in the 40th year of her age. The deceased was born in Calais, Vt., July 16, 1818 and came to live in Burlington in 1858 since which time she has been a prominent and active member of that interesting social circle with which she was connected and by which her loss will be deeply felt. Her disease was that slow and insidious but sure destroyer, Consumption. Her end was peaceful and happy, giving mourning friends, from whom she has been taken all the comforting evidence that their loss was her infinite gain. The funeral of the deceased will take place today at 10 o'clock a.m. from her late residence on Main Street, east side, between Maple and Locust. All friends are invited to attend.
