Marceline E. Bonar, 73, of 711 High St., Burlington, died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 1994.
Born Feb. 23, 1921, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Edward Joseph and Emma Vogelgesang Jones. On May 17, 1946, she married Frances E. Bonar in Davenport. He died Nov. 30, 1962.
Mrs. Bonar had been a bookkeeper for Raid Quarries, Cessford Construction Co., and Lagomarcino’s.
She was a 1939 graduate of Burlington High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna J. Bonar, and S. Sue Nelson, both of Burlington; two sons, Gary Lee Bonar and Russell Bonar, both of Burlington; five grandchildren; one sister Eileen Peterson of Burlington; one niece.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Visitation will be after 8 a.m. Monday in the Lunning Chapel, where the family will meet with friends between 7 and 8:30 p.m.
The funeral for Mrs. Bonar will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. David Rogula officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
