Marguerite Louise Zurmuehlen, 86, of 1815 Mount Pleasant St., died at 4:25 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, 1990, at Burlington Medical Center. Born April 29, 1904, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Alfred and Mary Reichert Loserth. She married Fred S. Zurmuehlen April 30, 1931, in Burlington. He died April 21, 1988. She was a graduate of Burlington High School and attended business college. She had worked for Schramm & Schmieg Co. and as a bookkeeper in grocery stores her husband owned. She was a longtime member of the board of directors and volunteer for the Girl Scouts. Sh was a member of Chapter KB of PEO, the What-So-Ever Circle of King's Daughters, Christian Science Society of Burlington, the Mother Church, Boston, Mass.; and served on the Board of Trustees and was treasurer of the church. Surviving are one son, Don Zurmuehlen, Gladstone, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Mary (Robert0 Turain, Perrsburg, Ohio; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Lunning Chapel. The service for Mrs. Zurmuehlen will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel with Dorothy McHugh officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Christian Scientist Society of Burlington.
