Lester O. Zaiser, 79, of 2219 Gnahn St., died at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, 1990, at his home. Born Jan. 18, 1911, in Burlington, he was the son of Ervin Zaiser and Minnie Sickman Zaiser. He married Blanche L. Bazel on Nov.29, 1933, in Burlington. He was founder, owner and operator of Zaiser Sunnyside Florist until his retirement. He was a member of Malta Lodge 318, Palastine Shrine 11, E.C. Blackmar OES, Moose Lodge, Izaak Walton, UCT and First United Methodist church. Surviving are his wife: one son Robert Lester Zaiser of Route 5, Burlington; one daughter, Betty Zink of Homosassa, Fla.; one stepsister, Mildred Brown of Yarmouth; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Lunning Chapel. The service for Mr. Zaiser will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lunning Chape with Dr. Robert Dodder officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for First United Methodist Church.
