Edith G. Bonar, 59, Mt. Union, died at Danville nursing home, Danville, at 3:44 p.m. Tuesday, November 30.
The daughter of Edward, W. and Adele Gerdes Burgus, she was born December 9, 1916, in Burlington. She married Earl Bonar February 14, 1942, at Kahoka, Missouri.
Surviving: The husband; five daughters, Janet Willson and Christine McKinnon, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, Marilyn Bergren, Mediapolis, Carole Houseal, Burlington rural, and Theresa Wood, Burlington; brother, Carl Burgus, Des Moines county; and five grandchildren.
Funeral: 10:30 Friday, Prugh's Chapel, Fr. Rudolph Berndt; Aspen Grove cemetery.
