Former Burlington resident Matilda B. (Tillie) Zachmeyer, 85, Galesburg, Ill., died at 7:31 p.m.Monday, Nov. 26, at St. Mary Hospital, Galesburg. She was born at Donnellson on May 27, 1899, to Christian and Rosanna Hohl Krehbiel. She married Harry E. Zachmeyer Dec. 1, 1914, at Farmington; he died April 13, 1939. She attended Burlington schools and was a member of the Mennonite Church and several lodges. Surviving: Son, Neil, Monmouth, Ill., Rt. 1; two grand-children, two-great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand-daughter. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, Hinchliff-Pearson-West funeral home, Galesburg. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
