Obituary

Harry Bernard Youngquist, 84, of 505 S. Marshall, died at 2:50 a.m. Sunday in Burlington hospital where he had been a patient since Mar. 21. He was born Mar. 5, 1883, in Burlington the son of Andrew and Mathilda Gustafson Youngquist. May 20, 1912, he married Mamie E. Hornung in Burlington. For several years he operated his own meat market. He later worked in the meat departments at Benner's. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church, and was for 50 years a member of Malta Lodge 318 (AF&AM). Surviving: The wife; one sister, Mrs. E.H. Kuhny, South Bend, Ind.; two brothers, Blaine Youngquist, Andalusia, Ill., Maurice Youngquist, Des Moines; several nephews and nieces, including Mrs. William Burk of Wever. Services: 2 p.m. Tuesday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Roscoe Wolvington; Aspen Grove cemetery.
