Richard Emil Youngman, 61, of 418 Barrett, died at 6:28 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 4 at LaHarpe (Ill.) Hospital. He was born April 7, 1920, near Mediapolis to Emil S. and Hilda Bloom Youngman. He married Mary K. Schulze July 17, 1970, at Durham, Ill. Mr Youngman was a carpenter and painter, a World War II Navy veteran, a member of First United Church of Christ, Eagles, OES and several Masonic orders. Surviving: His wife; two daughters, Mrs. Veryl (Barbara) Kroon, Des Moines, and Mrs. Peggy Lindquist, Holmen, Wis.; four grand-children. Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday, Prugh's Chapel, the Revs. Alvin Volle and Eric Buster; Aspen Grove Cemetery with American Legion military rites.
