Obituary
Arthur L. Youngman, 76, of 1516 Grove St., died in Mercy hospital at 6:35 a.m. Monday. He was a retired farmer and Burlington Railroad shops worker. Mr. Youngman was the son of Frank and Christina Anderson Youngman, and was born on New Year's day, 1890, in Des Moines county. He was married to Esther Larson Jan. 21, 1917, in West Burlington. Mr. Youngman was a member of Bethany Lutheran church. Surviving: The wife; son Luther W. Youngman of Burlington, and four grandchildren. Also surviving: Brothers Emil and Oscar Youngman, both of Burlington, and sisters Mrs. Ellen Youngman, Mrs. Helma Taylor and Mrs. Blanche Peterson, all of Burlington. Services: Bethany church Wednesday, 2 p.m. the Rev. Earl Meissner, Aspen Grove cemetery. The body will be taken from the Prugh Chapel to the church at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
