Helen Lorraine Young, 71, of Oxnard, Calif., died at 11:55 a.m. Monday, June 18, 1990, in Oxnard. She was born Nov. 11, 1918, in Burlington. She moved from Des Moines to Ventura County, Calif., in 1950. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer, Oxnard, Calif., and a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star in Des Moines. Surviving are her husband, Robert; one daughter, Judith Woodring, Oxnard, Calif.; one son, Dennis Robert Young, Ojai, Calif.; one sister, Dorothy See, Bandon, Ore. and one grandson. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Payton Mortuary Chapel, Oxnard, Calif. They service for Mrs. young will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Lutheran Church of Our "Redeemer, Oxnard, with the Rev. Roger D. Veum officiating. Burial will be in Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura, Calif. A memorial has been established for the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.
