A committal service for Jacolyn Alice Young, 48, Sacramento, Calif., who died Saturday, March 8, will be held in Aspen Grove cemetery at 11 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Dale A. Hempen officiating, Memorials for Zion United Church of Christ and American Cancer society have been established at Lunning chapel. Miss Young was project liaison officer for Multi-Purpose Senior Service project, California Department of Social Services. For her work as a psychiatric social worker, she was cited by Gov. Edmund G. Brown Jr., on her retirement a few weeks ago. She was the daughter of Norman J. and Alice Venghaus Young, and was born March 22, 1931, in Burlington. She was a member of several professional organizations. Surviving: her mother, Alice Young, and sister Judith Thompson, both of Burlington.
