Mrs. Anna Bessie young, 81, of 115 Argyle court, died at Burlington Medical Center 3 1/2 hours after admission Wednesday, Dec. 13. She was born Anna Hansen in Benton county, Feb. 12, 1897. She married Harry E. Young at Marengo Dec. 20, 1916. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving: Husband at home; two sons, Virgil Young, West Burlington, and Gerald, Burlington, 10 grand-children and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, Giles-Elliott funeral home, Rev. Marvin Weidner; Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established at Giles-Elliott funeral home.
