Adam J. Young, 54, of 719 Morningside, died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, April 20, at Burlington Medical Center. He was born Dec. 9, 1925, to Adam l. and Della Fisher. on Nov. 16, 1947, he married Erma N. Clark at Warsaw, Il. He was senior vice-president of Aldi Foods. He was a member of the First United Methodist church, Elks, Burlington Golf club, United Commercial Traveler and the church choir. He held the bronze star for World War II Army service. Surviving: a daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Kropp, Burlington; two sisters, Mrs. Dolly Ward, Middletown, and Mrs. Ada Wilcox, Albuquerque, N.M. and two grandchildren. Funeral: 2 p.m. Tuesday, First United Methodist church, Dr. Robert Gildner; Aspen Grove cemetery. Memorials have been established to the American Heart Assn. and First United Methodist church.
