Erma Nadine Young, 77, of River Hills Village, Keokuk, formerly of Burlington, died at 4:40 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2005, at Keolil Area Hospital. Born July 17, 1928, in Rochester, Mn., she was the daughter of George and Clara Bath Clark. On Nov. 16, 1947, she married Adam J. Young in Warsaw, Il. He died April 20, 1980. Mrs. Young was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Warsaw High School. She was a member of First Untied Methodist Church in Burlington, Burlington Golf Club and active in the Burlington'West Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce. Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie Rasmussen of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo.; and two grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be from 8 to 10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 10:45 a.m. The graveside service for Mrs. Young will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. Dennis Tevis officiating. Those wishing to attend the graveside service may meet at Lunning Chapel by 10:45 a.m. Memorials have been for the Parkinson Foundation and Alzheimer's Association.
