Clifford Lloyd Yohe, 93, of West Palm Beach, Fla., formerly of Grosse Point, Mich., died Monday, April 15, 1996, at his home. Born Feb. 18, 1903, in Burlington, he was the son of Chester and Louise Swan Yohe. he married Winona Rynott; she died Dec. 17, 1992. Mr. Yohe, also known as "Mr. Kmart," began his career sweeping floors at the S.S. Kresge store in Burlington and retired 47 years later as a corporate vice president of Kmart. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge, Shrine and Sons of the American Revolution, He was one of the first graduates of Burlington Junior College. He is survived by one son, James E. Yohe of Newburgh, Ind. Besides his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Richard Yohe. The funeral for Mr. Yohe will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Forest L. Krummel officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Southeastern Community College.
