Henry A. Yoder, 60, of 622 S. 12th, was dead on arrival at Medical Center Tuesday, Sept. 7. The son of George D. and Minnie Richmann Yoder, he was born Dec. 25, 1915, at Adair. He married Frances Schaefer June 8, 1940, in Burlington. A retired Burlington Northern Railroad fireman, he was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Eagles Lodge. Surviving: The wife; two sons. Daniel Moscow, Idaho, and Michael, New London; and daughter, Ila Heyland, Burlington; two brothers, Roy, Des Moines, and George, West Burlington; three sisters, Sarah Huggman and Fay Cade, both of Des Moines and Louise Koepf, Burlington; and eight grandchildren. Funeral: 1:30 Friday, Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Gilbert A. Saathoff; Aspen Grove cemetery. A memorial has been established at Trinity church.
