Obituary

Mabel Goeser, 78, of 904 Franklin, died Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Mercy Hospital where she had been a patient two days. A native of Packwood, she was born Feb. 23, 1884, to Mr. and Mrs. John W. Everett. on Feb. 20, 1910, she married Abraham Yoder who died Sept. 3, 1953. She had lived in Burlington for 50 years. She was milliner at Grossmans and the Economy Reay-to-Wear stores. On Oct. 14, 1955, she married a second time to Ernest L. Goeser in Burlington. Survivors include her husband, one son, William E. Yoder of Freeport, Ill.; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Heiniger of Kingston; two sisters, Blanche Everett of Des Moines; Mrs. Edith Tyndall of Denver; one brother, Carl A. Everett of Des Moines; one niece, Mrs. Orva Morton of Fairfield; 2 step children and 2 grandchildren. Several brothers and sisters are dead. Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Wallen-Nelson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. L.Z. Patton officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
