Milton E. Yeiter, 77, 2010 Sunnyside Ave., died Saturday, April 12, at Burlington Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1908, at West Burlington, the son of Fred Yeiter and May Wittmeier. He married Claribell Mosena on Dec. 28, 1935, in Burlington. Mr. Yeiter was employed as a truck driver for Yetter Oil Co. and Chittenden and Eastman Co., retiring in 197. He was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Malta Lodge #318 A.F. & A.M., the Holiday Ramblers, Big River Sams and Iowa River Sams, a past senior counselor for United Commercial Travelers, and a 50-year member and past president of the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include his wife, at home; a son, Milton Yeiter, rural Burlington; a brother, Arthur, Marshalltown; a sister, Elma Kueser, Burlington; a niece and a granddaughter. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel, the Rev. Robert Sherwood officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
