Georgia May Yaley, 89, of 1920 Dill St., died at 6;10 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 1990, at the Wapello Nursing Home. Born Feb. 11, 1901, in Wever, she was the daughter of Allan and Sadie Prudence Peel. She married Rolland Yaley May 22, 1918, in Fort Madison. He died oct. 15, 1977. She was a member of the Fort Madison Christian Church. Surviving are two daughters, Dorene Patrick and Delores Shoemaker, both of Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Maud McGill of Davenport; two grandsons; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Beatty-Hass Funeral Home in Burlington. The graveside for Mrs. Yaley will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Apen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Andrew Pate officiating. A memorial has been established for the First Christian Church.
