Cecil Clifford Yager, 63, of 1914 Mt.Pleasant, died Friday at 10:50 p.m. while on duty as an employe of Mercy hospital. He was born Sept. 4, 1905, in West Burlington, the son of Fred and Minnie Schueltke Yager. In Burlington on June 14, 1927, he married Edith Oertel. Mr. Yager was a retired CB&Q shopworkers and a member of the Bethanky Lutheran church, Railroad Veterans, Malta Lodge of A.F. and A.M. and the Blackhawk Hunting club. Surviving: His wife; daughter, Mrs. Wanda Kimler, of Independence; brother, Earl Yager, of Burlington; and one grandson. Services: Monday, 3 p.m. Elliott-Lunning chapel, Rev. Earl Meissner; Aspen Grove cemetery. Masonic services will be tonight at 7:30 at the chapel.
