Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Wrage, 55, of Burlington and formerly of Gladbrook, Iowa died at 7:33 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, peacefully at her home.
Born December 14, 1957 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Clem and Kathleen Lutz Heiniger. On February 22, 1989 she married Jeff Wrage in Grundy Center.
Mrs. Wrage was a licensed practical nurse and worked at Westbrook Acres in Gladbrook for 13 years. She was a dedicated nurse and was appreciated and loved by all of the staff and residents.
She enjoyed tending her gardens, her pets, traveling, and reading romance novels. Mrs. Wrage was a very caring person, enjoyed her grandchildren, nieces and nephews and cherished her daughter.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Wrage of Burlington; one daughter, Aimee (Matt) Wagenbach of Burlington; five grandchildren, Lydia Wagenbach, Elise Wagenbach, Lucas Wagenbach, Hanna Wagenbach, and Ellah Wagenbach; her mother, Kathleen Heiniger of Burlington; two sisters, Nancy Heiniger of Burlington and Joyce (Fred) Weyrick of Wapello; one brother, Paul Heiniger of Mediapolis and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She will be missed.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., Friday, April 5th, at Lunning Chapel.
The private family burial for Mrs. Wrage will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Gladbrook, Iowa.
