Isaac Shannon Woodley, 13, of Burlington, died at his home on Sunday afternoon, July 7, 2013.
Born on December 20, 1999 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of Frank Woodley Jr. and Shirley Ann Coleman.
Isaac was a student at Aldo Leopold grade school. He enjoyed playing football, attending school and being with his family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Shirley Ann Coleman of Burlington, Iowa; step-father, Ramarius LeVall Chambers of Burlington, Iowa; his father, Frank Woodley Jr. of Chicago, Illinois; one sister, Vilea Stout, at home; one brother, Isaiah Woodley at home; grandfather, David Coleman of Chicago, Illinois; aunts, Victoria Colbert, Annie Colbert and Tycheyl Colbert, all of Burlington, Iowa; uncles, Mario Wigfall, Michael Colbert, James Colbert and Jeremiah Colbert, all of Chicago, Illinois; godmother, Janee Mitchell of Valparaiso, Indiana; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Shirley Colbert.
Funeral services for Isaac Shannon Woodley will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. at Prugh's Chapel. Pastor Fred Starling will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, Iowa.
Friends may call on Wednesday in Prugh's Chapel from noon until 5:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
