Robert O. Boese, 79, of 101 Orchard Place, died at 12:10 am Thursday, Oct. 24, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center’s Klein Unit.
Born Dec. 4, 1911, in Burlington, he was the son of Otto J. and Brace Bunn Boese. He married Janet Thulin.
He was a graduate of Burlington High School, Burlington Junior College, and the University of Iowa. He worded at JC Penney’s before retiring.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, James S., and Dr. Robert B. both of Tulsa, Okla.; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call this afternoon and evening at Prugh’s Chapel.
The graveside committal service for Mr. Boese will be 10:30 am Saturday at Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Glenn Parrott officiating.
