Janet Evelyn Boese, 86, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, formerly of Burlington, died at 7 p.m. Saturday, January 7, 2006, at Heatheridge Heights Care Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born February 5, 1913, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Arthur E. and Maude M. Long Thulin. In 1938, she married Robert Otto Boese in Burlington. He died October 24, 1991. Mrs. Boese was a homemaker. She grew up in Burlington. She was a member of First United Church of Christ. Two years ago, she and her sister relocated to Tulsa to be near their family. Survivors include one son, James S. Boese of Tulsa and six grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son and one sister.
