Nicky Lee Wirt, 60, of Burlington went to heaven May 16th, 2018.
Nicky was born March 4, 1958 to Mick and Betty (Newsom) Wirt. He grew up on the farm and went to school in Mediapolis, graduating in 1976.
Nicky married Judy Kattner and had a daughter, Nichole Lee Wirt. Nicky and Judy later divorced. Nicky lived in Texas for 25 years and worked as a self-employed commercial and residential painter, owning Pro-Painters for 20 years. He returned to Burlington in 2009 and worked as a heavy equipment operator and truck driver.
Nicky is survived by his daughter, Nichole (Andrew) Mark of Argyle, TX; two grandsons, Hudson Mark and Easton Mark; his mother, Betty Cook of Burlington; and brother, Michael (Deb) Wirt of Burlington.
He was preceded in death by his dad and step-dad (Charles Cook).
