Harvey LeRoy Boesch, 65, 1016 Cook, died at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, while he was unloading trash in the Des Moines county landfill.
Boesch, a custodian at St. Francis Continuation Care center, collapsed and tumbled from a truck at the landfill. Efforts to revive him failed.
Boesch was born November 17,1907, in Burlington, the son of Henry and Carrie Kirkpatrick Boesch.
He married Evelyn Agnes Duke August 29, 1946, in Burlington.
Boesch served in World War II.
Surviving: The wife; one sister, Mrs. Theodore Berning, Mediapolis; four nephews; six nieces.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Prugh's Chapel, Reverend Edward Philgreen, Aspen Grove.
