Harold "Lee" Wilson, 80, of Burlington, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, 1999, at his home. Born May 27, 1918, in Center, Colo., he was the son of Clyde and Emma Ausmus Wilson. He married Wanda Welch May 16, 1950, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He was a World War II Army Sergeant Veteran. He worked as an electrician for the Burlington Northern Railroad for 30 years. Mr. Wilson was of the Methodist faith, a member of the Mainliners Club, and the Retired Railroad Club, and a lifetime member of the VFW. His hobbies include his grandchildren, fishing, gardening, growing roses, and plastic canvas works. Survivors include his wife; one son, Randy Wilson of Omaha, Neb.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nehews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. Friends may call after 8 a.m. today at the Hass Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mr. Wilson will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Hass Funeral Home, with the Rev. David G. Rogula officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with full military honors conducted by the VFW Post 10102. A memorial has been established for the VFW Post 10102.
