Mrs. Genevieve Boeck, 70, 914 Louisa, was found dead at her home at 11 am Monday, April 29.
She was born Jan. 21, 1904, in Burlington, the daughter of Matthew and Addie Geiger Rissi. She married George Albert Boeck in Burlington Aug. 20, 1940; he died Jan. 31, 1966. She was retired after 45 years as an office employe at McKesson & Robbins. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Hawkeye Natives, and National Senior Citizens.
Surviving: Three sisters, Mrs. Rose Bloomberg, Galesburg, Ill., Mrs. Frances Bunnell, Punta Gorda, Fla., and Mrs. Madeline Peterson, Sun City, Ariz.; and one brother, Ed Rissi, Burlington.
Graveside committal services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, Aspen Grove Cemetery, Rev. Laurence Garrett. Prugh’s chapel is in charge of arrangements.
