Frances Nellie Williamson, 95, of Davenport passed away April 15, 2008, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, IA. Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2008, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary, with a Prayer Service at 5:30. Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House. Frances was born on September 1, 1912, in Burlington, the daughter of Ernest A. and Nellie A. (Timmerman) Lange. She married Ernest Eugene Williamson in 1942. He passed away in 1958. She worked as a Secretary for J. I. Case for 23 years, and then with the Davenport Schools until she retired. She was formerly a member of Eastern Star #178 and a member of Newcomb Presbyterian Church, Retired School Secretaries and The Plus 60 Club. She loved dogs and supported the Humane Society. She adored her family, especially nieces and nephews. She loved driving about town, frequenting local restaurants and a full cup of coffee. She was adored by her family and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sisters, Marcella Schwenker, Davenport and Marian Huntley, Moline, IL; nieces, Diane Hartwig, Moline, IL, Joyce Mullins, Davenport, IA, Jean Schneider, Bettendorf, IA, Kathleen Orozco, York, PA, Marcia Hunter, FL; and nephew, Harold E. Huntley, Moline, IL. She was preceded in death by her husband and sister, Ruth Montgomery.
