Charles Fred Boden, 75, of 717 S. Third, died at 5:41 pm Wednesday, March 31, at Burlington Medical Center.
He was born May 22, 1906, at Afton. He married Iola (Tiny) Sapp May 22, 1940, at Iowa City.
He worked for several businesses in Burlington, including City Service Oil Co., Golden Food Service at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Kroger Food Store, Tiny's Cafe, Burlington Gym and Bolick Realty. He was a Methodist, a Navy veteran of World War II, and a member of VFW, American Legion, Eagles and Elks.
Surviving: His wife; two brothers, Earl, Des Moines, and Dale, Arizona; a sister, Mrs. Leona Thompson, Creston.
Funeral: 2 pm Saturday, Prugh's Chapel, Aspen Grove Cemetery.
